Single Vineyard Zygos (Slopes of Mount Knimida)

Some 27 years ago, 3 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2.5 hectares of Chardonnay found an ideal home at an altitude of 330-350 meters / 1080-1150 feet on the slopes of mountain Knimida and set the foundation for two of the best wines of the Greek market. A loamy soil, with a gradient of up to 20% in some parts and a meridian exposure, provide unique conditions for the creation of wines with personality which have rightly created a ‘standard’ in their category and have their own dedicated fans.
